Rylee's Sunshine Foundation
Rylee's Sunshine Foundation was created in 2022 in memory of Rylee Neveah Odle. Rylee was a 15-year-old student at Princeton Senior High School at the time of her passing. She was passionate about so many things, including drama, choir and the many clubs and student organizations in high school. With Rylee's warm-hearted personality came her love of community service and she was always looking for ways to give back to her community. She strived every day to spread kindness to all she encountered.
PSHS Sunshine Closet
The Sunshine Closet at Princeton Senior High School is a dedicated space providing students with essential personal care items, hygiene products, and clothing, ensuring that no student goes without the basics they need. Led by the PSHS Key Club, this project is supported by Rylee’s Sunshine Foundation, which helps secure funding and resources to keep the closet well-stocked. Thanks to generous sponsors like Mister Sparky of Southern West Virginia and contributions from the PSHS Class of 1965, this space is both functional and welcoming. Featuring Rylee’s artwork, the closet stands as a tribute to her kindness, creativity, and the lasting impact she continues to have on our community. 🌻💛
Kindness Week 2024
Thank you for an amazing week of kindness!
Thank you to evryone for joining us for Kindness Week (October 14-18, 2024). We all came together to #TackleHate and #BeTheSunshine throughout our community! Each day contained a unique theme, encouraging everyone to participate in acts of kindness, share messages of gratitude, and promote unity. On Friday, October 18, 2024, #TackleHate day called on everyone to wear yellow, gold, or one of our t-shirts in a collective stand against hate at the PSHS football game.
We had such a successful week! Thank you to evryone who helped make it happen. Let’s continue to make a difference by spreading love and kindness. Together, we can brighten the world and #bethesunshine in someone’s life!
